I have a theory about this. On a hot day, if you drink a hot liquid it will make your body turn down the metabolism & not heat up so much. Short term, you feel hotter but long term you feel cooler.
When you eat a cold something on a hot day, your body has to turn up core temperature resulting in feeling hotter long term.

One of my sons couldn’t draw within lines to save his life. But he was excellent at coloring the page and not drawing within the lines. He would have a colorful page and go right up to the lines never within it or he would have something like this

I made a stop on my way to the pool. There was a 40-something man, wearing a Pluto hat, and he had a paper in his hand. He was obviously mentally delayed. I'm guessing intellectually he was about 4 years old.

He handed me the paper. It had been torn out of a coloring book personally colored by this man.

When I asked if it was for me, he got a huge smile and said, "Yes, you can have it."

I wish we could all be and behave as innocently as a child. He made my day, and I'm putting this up in my office.

I hate this but I don’t see an alternative… for those that quietly quit, I think you should be loudly fired. When you apply somewhere else and they contact HR, I think HR needs to be loud about your work choices. Is it theft?

I’ll never understand the men who refuse to cook or claim it’s women’s work; I courted my wife mostly in the kitchen. “Come over, let me make you dinner.” and now, a decade later, I am frying up steak while she plays with the children in the garden.

I took it apart tonight. The trailer plug got sand in it last week when I hauled a bunch. I assume that rubbed some insulation off of wires. Then the rain Saturday night shorted the wires and then the fuse.

Disconnected the trailer wiring harness from inside the rear light compartments, replaced the fuse & all is well… except I can’t pull a trailer anymore. I’ll replace that wiring later

My truck started smoking last night (not cigarettes) only when the left turn signal was being used.
I think some wires insulation rubbed off a bit and they short when power is applied. Still weird
