@cloudy0907 @Nalathorm They got the GPU wrong. The Radeon 5600XT does not have hardware raytracing and as such can't play the game.

@D_Hatemonger @AChevyWolf Elden Ring released in 2022. If you prefer only the most modern titles, Forza Horizon 6 has been shown to perform reliably on even weaker hardware than the Steam Deck. Other popular games like Arc Raiders, World of Tanks HEAT, and Pragmata are steam deck certified and very new.

@D_Hatemonger @AChevyWolf I mean looking at the spec sheet it's a solid performer for it's size. While a number of new AAA titles do not work well on it due to piss poor optimization, many popular titles like Elden Ring, Armored Core 6, Trackmania, every Sonic title, and more seem to run perfectly fine.

@D_Hatemonger @AChevyWolf While yes in theory they can loss lead on the Deck, in actuality that's not very effective as one of the big selling points of the Deck over other handheld is that you can use your steam games, along with that unlike the PS3 it doesn't have a subscription to online services (1/2)

@TamamoTailFluff @patrician_tv I think there is a very clear difference. With ammo, if you run out, you can often simply obtain more ammo by taking risks. (finishers in Doom Eternal, for example) In games with durability, if your weapon runs out, then that's it, the weapon is gone.
