People should use the correct verbiage. It’s not scalping. It’s price gouging.

Sure if a shop buys from a person at a percent of market they have to sell at market. But whether or not they should be giving scalpers and easy exit is a different discussion.

End of the day, it’s not helping the availability/affordability issue if they are getting distribution at release and charging presale market prices (which are always super high). When they get release distribution and charge $180 for an etb, 80% of that is straight profit.

Of course there are other factors like smaller allocations and distributors raising prices for restocks and that is shitty and forces some of this but the end result of LCS charging market prices and actual scalping is the same. The average person is priced out.
