I am at Keele Uni for the Newcastle Borough Council election count. All 44 seats on the council have been contested today, and we’re expecting the full result by around 4am #localelections

And Reform take three more seats in Talke and Butt Lane, taking them to 24, meaning they have an overall majority on the borough council, wresting control from the Conservatives

Another three wins for Reform in Bradwell, taking their total up to 27
