@Liverpool1207 Thanks for sharing this wonderful article. Both my parents grew up in Scottie and my dad's grandparents lived in Limekiln Lane. I'd never heard of Lee Jones. My parents were both born early 1930, so there's a chance they may even lined the funeral route.
@VallaNils13872@TheAnfieldWrap Same Bo. I was in the Paddock that night with me dad. I never got to Rome for the final but I was at Wembley for the final against Bruges in '78; but, for me, it never came close to the St. Etienne game for atmosphere.
@fassmufc @teexlfc Agree. Easy for Carragher to say that. He never interest from a big European club. Would prefer TAA to stay but that's his choice. I won't think any less of him, even though many will. Losing him on a free hurts though
@austriainuk It is right that we celebrate the important role of women in our society. I'm so proud of my wife, my daughters and my sisters and all the women in my life; past and present.
@roryglee@jsexton24@TheAnfieldWrap@MirrorFootball Agree Rory. The club's role in this saga should not be overlooked. They have been negligent in not sorting out a contract offer way before we reached this point. I agree, it is galling that we might lose him on a free, but come what may, I would not hold anything against TAA.
