PDM Report: Ex-US Marine Protector-class, BRP Pag-Asa (PATS-MPC-2701) is currently undergoing pre-transfer training and drills in Maryland. The activities are intended to prepare its future crew and ensure the vessel is ready for service upon delivery.
@SSixevo2 there are some countermeasures, it's not 100% jam-proof, but there are techs within it that increases survivability. it's also said to be autonomous, so flight paths can be pre-prorammed, with instructions to return to a PN vessel.
RUMINT sources confirmed that a Schiebel CAMCOPTER S-100 VTOL UAS was on the flight deck of the Philippine Navy’s latest OPV.
This is significant because the S-100 is not a small quadcopter-type drone. It is a shipborne rotary-wing UAV designed for serious maritime ISR work

The actual quantity procured (or under procurement) is classified, but it's "signifcant" and in the double digits.

Fin/x
The 50kg payload is a bit limited, but the S-100 can be configured EO/IR camera turrets, search radar, AIS receiver, SIGINT / RF detection, etc.
Future developments may include sonobuoy relay or dispenser, and even armed with Martlet Missiles.
4/x
The S-100 has been used or selected by multiple navies and maritime agencies worldwide; for shipborne ISR, border surveillance, maritime security, environmental monitoring, search and rescue, etc.
That makes it one of the more mature VTOL UAVs in its class.
3/x
It can operate from ships without a runway, catapult, or arresting gear, making it useful for OPVs, frigates, corvettes, etc.
Flying with >200km data link range, 10hrs endurance, and carry sensors such as EO/IR, maritime radar, AIS receivers, IFF/transponder systems, etc.

BRP Pag-Asa (PATS-MPC 2701) will be the lead ship of the donated Marine Protector Class Patrol Boat from the USCG, according to Reniel Ragudo (owner of the video, FB), PCG.

It would be remembered that last December, the Philippine Army also awarded a contract for 10,020 units of Carbine AR15/M4 platform to Dasan Machineries Co., Ltd., that will likely supply their DSAR15 5.56mm rifles.
Similar to the order of the PNP below.
A new ITB was released by the Philippine Army for 8,270 units of Red Dot optics. Due to budget constraints, it's highly likely not magnified, and should be enough to equip a huge number of infantry units.
There may be another bid for a separate batch soon, and for the PMC.
The mount intended for the SIMBAD-RC missile launchers (for Mistral-3 surface-to-air missiles) of the @Philippine_Navy 🇵🇭's BRP Rajah Lakandula PS-21 OPV was seen in a rare photo. The space for the SIMBAD-RC missile launchers was placed beside, or near the two 30mm SMASH RCWS.
