At #FMQs @HumzaYousaf says re the cash injection from @scotgov to community pharmacies of £20m: part of our continued investment to "adequately fund" CPs. Whilst this is a welcome step forward this alone will be insufficient to keep doors open and meet community healthcare needs . To give some perspective on this - £20m appears to be a very big number but represents only 1.74% of the annual medicine spend for Scotland. Pharmacy owner medicine costs have increased by over three times this amount.
