I wonder how this will affect the second-hand market. Will collectors see PS5 as the physical cut-off and become more inclined to buy a couple of older PS5 games rather than paying top whack for a single PS6 release?
With people freaking out about PS6 prices, could Sony adopt the Steam model with in comparison ‘cheaper’ games and frequent sales? Or will they keep every AAA release at £70 and say, “You’ve got no choice”? 🥴
