I recently had meetings across USA and South America & was reminded of something important.
Jamaica is not just popular; Jamaica is respected.
Coming out of COVID-19 & Hurricane Melissa, the global community sees Jamaica as the leader in resilience & future-proofing tourism.
The details don’t matter to me. What’s clear is that Buju’s recent public behavior is disappointing and beneath the standard I expect from someone of his stature.
@PaulGrimshaw15 I had breakfast today at a restaurant and after I was done, I tried paying with cash. It was only then they said they don’t accept cash.
The push for a cashless society MAY reduce crime but it also excludes the unbanked, the elderly, low-income. Not everyone has access to cards.
Remember US cash says, “This note is legal tender for all debts, public and private.”
Innovation should expand access not restrict
If you have an audience, say something.
Bad Bunny certainly said something last night. Some of us may not have understood the words…but we certainly understood the imagery.
Congratulations.

Pretty sure the Bad Bunny show was MUCH better than the nonsense Kid Rock did.
Jamaica’s dancehall beats certainly helped too.
#BadBunny for the win.

There have been at least 75 school shootings in the USA so far this year, as of Dec 13.
43 on college campuses, and 32 on K-12 school grounds. Left at least 31 people dead and more than 100 other victims injured.
All we do is to offer thoughts and prayers.

Earlier this month, it was announced that Jamaica ranked number 1 in the world for its people being the most likely to help a stranger, according to the World Happiness Gallup Report 2025.
And know we could use YOUR help.
