This guy turned every single text his HOA president sent him into a song.

Over the past year and a half, she’s been texting him nonstop about fines, videos he’s posting, eggs in the yard, signs on his lawn, his driveway, and even threatening to put a lien on his house. So instead of arguing with her, he had AI turn all her messages into a full song.

It’s honestly one of the most creative ways I’ve seen someone get back at an over-the-top HOA.

On this day in '01, The Phantom's Revenge at Kennywood opened.

This Arrow Dynamics looping coaster debuted as Steel Phantom in '91, later redesigned without inversions by D.H. Morgan Manufacturing. Despite a 160-foot lift, the coaster has a 228-foot second drop, reaching 85 mph.

BREAKING: Maryland becomes first state to ban AI ‘dynamic pricing’ in grocery stores.

This means 49 other states still allow it.

Dynamic pricing already runs airlines, hotels, and rideshares. Groceries are the next frontier.

Here's how it works:

Grocery stores use AI, digital price tags, and cameras to track YOUR behavior.

Then they set the price based on what they think YOU will pay. Not what the item is worth.

AI technology is making this possible:

- Digital shelf tags that update in real time
- Aisle cameras that track shopper behavior
- Apps that shift from search-based to predictive
- AI that learns your purchase history, income signals, and price ceiling
- Real-time cart tracking to spot when demand is surging

The store's AI takes all of that and figures out YOUR price.

Not the market price. Not a fair price. YOUR price, based on what you're willing to pay.

This is terrifying. This manipulation is pure greed.

Maryland just banned it. The Protection from Predatory Pricing Act makes it the first state to outlaw dynamic pricing in grocery stores.

Technology should serve us. We should not serve technology.

Allegheny County is always looking for ways to use the Sister Bridges’ lights to enhance their beauty and make them shine during major events Downtown and on the North Shore. So, we were proud to partner with the NFL to create special lighting displays for the draft.

Last night, the Roberto Clemente, Andy Warhol, and Rachel Carson Bridges lit up in each team’s colors during their picks, and the bridges will do the same tonight. The bridges also feature pre-draft and post-draft light shows to make the event even more enjoyable for residents and visitors.

In addition to large events like the draft and Picklesburgh, the county also changes the Sister Bridges’ lighting for non-religious holidays such as Independence Day, and we annually commission artists to create light shows for the public to enjoy during the holiday season.
