The Phillies are 21-5 in games started by Cristopher Sanchez, Zack Wheeler and Jesus Luzardo since the date Wheeler was activated.
7-1 with Sanchez, 7-2 with Wheeler, 7-2 with Luzardo with all three of them healthy.
The #Phillies offense vs. LHP -- since Don Mattingly took over (4/28)
BA -- .264 (6th in #MLB)
HR -- 16 (3rd)
BB rate -- 10.2% (6th)
OBP -- .342 (5th)
SLG -- .467 (3rd)
OPS -- .809 (3rd)
After starting 9-19, the #Phillies have gone 27-11. I’ll never be able to understand that start to the season, but I’m happy to see such a dramatic turn around thus far
A current look at Jonathan Bowlan:
Over his last 10 appearances he has allowed just one earned run in 11.2 IP with 12Ks and 1BB.
Of 312 MLB pitchers who have thrown at least 100 four-seam FBs this season, he has the 4th-highest whiff% on the pitch (39.1%) and 7th highest K% (41%).

From Phillies: Phillies infielder Aidan Miller has been diagnosed with discogenic pain and facet inflammation in the lumbar spine. Due to recurrence of low back pain when returning to baseball activities, he was seen by spine specialists over the last couple of weeks. The specialists were in agreement that the recommended course of treatment is a minimally invasive procedure called a radiofrequency ablation of the facet joints. Miller will have the procedure performed this Friday, June 5. He will rest for one week after the procedure and then return to his rehabilitation with the goal to return to game activity in six to eight weeks.
