We are to strengthen & encourage each other to continue in the faith..... saying that through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God. Acts 14:22
@pudicat11@joecast50967150 In 2 Peter 3:3-9 God does not want anyone to perish but all to come to repentance.
Ezekiel 33:11 God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked but they would turn from their evil ways & live.
This is God's heart toward us. A God of compassion, love, mercy and grace.
@7VisionsProject And you should consider there is no trumpet call at the 6th seal as described on the DOTL in Joel 2:1, Isaiah 27:13, Zephaniah 1:15-16, Zechariah 9:14 also seen Matthew 24:31, 1 Thessalonians 4:16, & 1 Corinthians 15:52.
@7VisionsProject At the 6th seal in Revelation 7:2-3 the angels were instructed not to harm the earth until the servants of God (tribes of Israel) were sealed.
Revelation 9:4 (5th trumpet), the angels were told not to harm those who have the seal of God.
Harming the earth can be seen as wrath.
@DanielL86751946@thechosentv Some may not realize the creator Dallas Jenkins along with the writers have stated the series uses "creative liberties" not directly found in the Bible along with true stories from the Gospels.
If you are not grounded in Scripture you may not know the difference so be warned.
@7VisionsProject n Revelation 15:1, The 7 bowls of wrath are described as the last, for with them the wrath is of God is finished.
So it clearly implies the bowls finalize God's wrath but does not include all of His wrath that is poured out on the DOTL.
@7VisionsProject The OT prophets spoke of the day of the LORD comes with wrath.
Isaiah 13:9-16, 34, 63 & 66 & Zephaniah 1:14–18, etc.
I already shared Matthew 13, 24:28, 37-40 & Luke 17:34-37.
Revelation was given to us to fill in the details the prophecies of the OT prophets, Jesus & Paul.
@7VisionsProject Ok but I see the cosmic signs in Matthew 24:29 & Revelation 6 occur before the day of the LORD in Joel 2.
The trumpet call described in Matthew 24:31, 1 Corinthians 15:52, 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 as Christ comes & gathers His elect occurs at the 7th seal, at the 7th trumpet.
@7VisionsProject It is interesting that we can both agree the resurrection/gathering is at the 2nd coming, as Jesus returns immediately after the tribulation of those days at the 7th trumpet......but I do not see it as a split view or parallel vision concept that you do & not at the 6th seal.
@7VisionsProject Sorry I missed this.
I realize that Revelation 16:15 disrupts a pre-conceived timeline that insists believers were gathered before the bowls of wrath but in Rev 15:2 martyrs killed in the tribulation are still in heaven so the resurrection at Christ's return has not yet occurred
@7VisionsProject Ok but like I already shared the wicked being gathered first from Matthew 13 is repeated again in Luke 17:34-37 which mirrors Matthew 24:28, 40-41 those taken first are removed in judgement & killed.
So it should be included on your list of relevant passages.
@7VisionsProject I see the coming of Christ, gathering of His people & destruction of the beast with the enemies of God after the 7th seal, 7th trumpet/ 7th bowl of God's wrath.
Matthew 24 serves as a foundational outline.
2 Thess. 1:5-10 & 2:1-8 & Rev. 14:14-20 & 19:11-21 fill in more details.
@7VisionsProject Yes, it is clearly figurative language used to communcate is core message to its readers.
And yes the nations that come against Israel in the end times will be crushed & and their blood will flow (like red grape juice crushed from a winepress).
@7VisionsProject The supernatural gathering of the beast's armies in Revelation at the 6th bowl and in Gog's armies Ezekiel 39-40 I believe demonstrates how the tares/wicked are gathered to be burned-killed.
@7VisionsProject And winepress of God's wrath used in Revelation 14:19 & 19:15 is also used in the OT in Isaiah 63:1-6 describing the Lord treading the winepress alone in judgement over the nations & Joel 3:`12-13 harvest & treading the winepress for it is full.... "for their evil is great"
@7VisionsProject I missed this from earlier but if you read Revelation 16:12-16 it answers your question how the kings from the east & the kings of the whole world are supernaturally drawn to assemble at Armageddon after the 6th angel poured out his bowl on the river Euphrates.
@7VisionsProject Yes it is important that we study on our own & reach our own conclusions from Scripture so we are not misled.
I certainly do not have all of the answers but I want to be open to continue to learn & from correction.
I have no problem with you questioning my views.
@7VisionsProject I initially missed your linked post (sorry about that!) but just read it & found it interesting.
I am glad you shared it and is something to consider.
@7VisionsProject Yes & in Zechariah 14:16 the survivors of the nations are required to keep the feast of Booths.
I believe in addition to commemorating the shelter & provision God provided Israel during their 40 years in the wilderness it will include God's protection during the tribulation.
@7VisionsProject Now addressing the survivors.
Scripture shows immediate conversations among the survivors from Israel & the nations at the LORD's coming (so not part of the rapture), Zech. 12:10 & 13:9, Joel 2:32, Zeph. 3:8-9 & Isaiah 19:21-25.
