@HwoodScrptReadr I think of my second act like the toilet scene from Dumb and Dumber. You watch this scene unfold and it just keeps getting worse! When she mentions the toilet is broken, now he’s got a whole new issue to deal with! The compounding problem makes the scene.

1. I hated the ending to Resident Evil. Not disliked. Hated.
2. With two months still left in the year, Resident Evil is in my 2026 Top Ten.

@HwoodScrptReadr After going on a journey with a character/group of characters, there’s an expected payoff. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth when there isn’t. Also hate FALSE payoffs: films where it seems like the protagonist was successful but they actually failed big time.
