@PfennigAllen These were all from spots where there was waterhemp a year ago. However, there was a noticeable uptick in general waterhemp pressure last summer. I envision that it will increase again. These particular spots had a more intense population than a year ago. 🫤

@LandonRice07 @LandinJohnson10 Most of our poor zones are clay or gravel hills, field depending. Is it mostly a wet/saline struggle for you guys in poor areas? Or a combination of both. Just trying to learn a little. Pretty green to canola production!

@LandonRice07 @LandinJohnson10 Started working with more canola by Wishek a few years ago. Currently we use 5# with a hoe drill. I had heard of guys up north using planters to go to 2# in better areas and keep it up at 5 in poor zones. We don't have as much salinity down here, though it exists.

@AgIntelAg @NDSUWeeds lower the pH to a point that would negatively affect the Sharpen? I've always thought AMS is a necessity and mostly enhances activity. Just curious!

@AgIntelAg @NDSUWeeds So in the weed guide there's a section that talks about Sharpen liking higher pH water. Most of the Sharpen that we use is tank mixed with glyphosate and AMS along with MSO. Usually PRE. I think that is pretty common practice. Is there any reason that that 10#/100 gal AMS would

@buttkeagronomy @okkefromuskogee @EMoore52 We rigged up a small tin shroud to cover the radiator and that definitely seemed to help. Don't know how late you guys drive fields but it is just something we found to be aware of with those ATVs. Good machine otherwise! Very durable and handles well.

@buttkeagronomy @okkefromuskogee @EMoore52 We have also run CanAm 570s. We found an issue with them getting warm on us during late season soybeans scouting. We make a few laps in bean fields checking for insects in July-Augustand because of the way their radiator is designed, leaves and trash sit on them and plug them up.
