So far this has worked every time I tried. Merchant doesn't reply to any email / ignores me. So I start searching for their phone number, (had to buy a phone app this time because they blocked international numbers π) and got the merchant on the phone.
I can just hear how surprised they are. On the phone they are super polite and kind. Explained the situation again and they updated their review. Confirmed our conversation via email and surprise surprise, this time they replied.
Meanwhile, I just received a review about Shopify billing.
Billing issues should not go straight to published app reviews, imo.
They should first become a support ticket with the app developer and Shopify Support, where the issue can actually be checked and resolved.
Reviews should be about the app experience, not platform billing confusion.

@ecombeckett There is, but they closed their store during the trial period, opened it again two months later, Shopify resumes billing as the trial period has now past. Merchant uninstalls the app but Shopify still charged for the first period.

@patjakubik I really wish Shopify would give partners more control on this. Every time something like this is posted, it stays completely silent on @ShopifyDevs end...
The system is so broken. With this kind of evidence they should remove the review/rating. We should be able to appeal.
Composer 2.10 is out.

@Ruv3c Thanks for letting me know! Hopefully this will be fixed soon. At the moment, Apple doesn't let met sign a new release. I'll let you know once an update is available to update the expire date.
Had the same experience. I took about a two-week βbreak,β mostly doing support work, and stopped everything else I was working on. The context switching was killing me, on top of trying to keep up with all the AI developments. There was also this constant anxiety about whether the AI agents were actually doing anything productive. It all resulted in bad sleep, random dizziness, stress; my brain was fried.
The break, along with focusing on a limited number of projects, helped me feel sane again π

@soulchildpls Itβs a pain οΏ½οΏ½ Iβm hoping they will add a transition period where both tokens work, Iβm a bit nervous that it will break things. https://t.co/RE2NiEylhh
