@Joey2x3s Why?? We've kept our core team from last season, everyone a year wiser for the PL. We do need cover at LB and to ease the load of Granit but asking someone of similar quality to come in and sit on the bench is a tough sell.

@JohnDefoe1990 @eathummous1 I agree, we have good strength in depth across many positions, what we need is someone who can cover GX if injury or fatigue sets in, but getting someone with those qualities and convincing them to sit on the bench is a tough sell.

@patrickscottlad Rice wiped out with illness and not fully recovered but agree on the others. If anything it highlights how few of his squad he trusted to deal with the big moments. Rice,Kane and Jude all looked spent by the second hydration break. Maybe using Rashford, Watkins and Saka as subs
