Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac met with members of the Filipino community (FILCOM) on 30 July 2026 at the Migrant Workers Office in Kuala Lumpur and conveyed President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s directive to continue delivering responsive and accessible services to overseas Filipino workers. In line with this, he provided a briefing on the DMW’s and other government agencies’ programs and services for overseas Filipino workers. He also took the occasion to thank the Filipino community organizations for their vital role in supporting fellow Filipinos and strengthening overseas communities.

Saya berkesempatan memenuhi jemputan Star Media Group bagi merasmikan ESG Positive Impact Awards 2025 Gala Night, sebuah majlis yang menghimpunkan peneraju industri yang komited memacu agenda Alam Sekitar, Sosial, dan Tadbir Urus (ESG) sebagai asas kepada pembangunan ekonomi yang mampan, bertanggungjawab dan berintegriti.

ESG tidak boleh dilihat sebagai satu trend semata-mata, tetapi sebagai satu komitmen jangka panjang untuk membangunkan negara melalui pembangunan modal insan, peluang pekerjaan berkualiti, perlindungan sosial yang lebih menyeluruh serta tadbir urus yang telus dan berintegriti.

Kerajaan MADANI melalui KESUMA akan terus memperkasa tenaga kerja negara dengan kemahiran masa hadapan, memperkukuh ekosistem pekerjaan serta memastikan setiap pekerja mendapat perlindungan dan peluang yang sewajarnya. Inilah asas kepada ekonomi yang lebih berdaya tahan, inklusif dan mampan.

Tahniah saya ucapkan kepada semua penerima anugerah dan finalis pada malam ini.

Semoga kejayaan ini menjadi inspirasi kepada lebih banyak organisasi untuk terus menerajui amalan ESG yang memberi impak sebenar kepada pekerja dan negara.
