Sounds like the Kamala Harris campaign, which wouldn’t give $10 million to the Black Caucus to engage ADOS voters—even though she raised $1 billion— but gave nearly all of it to the white consulting firms that drove her campaign into the ground.
Which begs the question, why did #ADOS ever assume some kind of natural solidarity existed between the descendants of slave traders & descendants of slaves?
Never made sense.
Our brother is standing on lineage business. A very eloquent response. There's no one more American than a Foundational Black American. We put the blood, guts, and glory into this American story.
“Why do we have to beg when we come back”
Another Pan-African who moved to Ghana asking why they have to pay exorbitant fees for citizenship and why Ghana hasn't granted them any resources given their Pan-African rhetoric
A video?
The ADOS Advocacy Foundation has more than 10 local chapters on the ground across the country. We’re the fastest growing Black grassroots organization in the country.
Are you always this lazy? Not doing an ounce of research?
And our organization has a Black Agenda that local activists organize around as well as reparations.
And yes I make videos because I don’t take a salary from the money we raise. It all goes back to local organizing.

Juneteenth is the celebration of freedom and citizenship. The Civil War was fought over slavery, and Juneteenth marks the final enforcement of emancipation in America. It is the story of a people who were denied the promises of this nation and then fought to claim them.
Juneteenth is not a celebration of global Pan-Africanism. It is a celebration of slaves becoming free AMERICANS. Our history is rooted in the unique struggle, sacrifice, and freedom struggle of those who endured slavery on American soil and built this country.
Juneteenth honors the journey from bondage to becoming AMERICAN. This is why Pan African colors are so disrespectful. Africa didn’t save us. They sold us. Our march to freedom belongs only to slaves, their descendants & allies in the fight. Nobody else.
Actor Laz Alonso questions why the U.S. citizenship test doesn’t include the civil rights movement & says immigrants wouldn’t have rights in the United States if not for African Americans’ sacrifices and struggles during the civil rights movement.

Last of the Black American Indians,..they were reclassified put on reservations, plantations and joined runaway tribes mixed of Indians & Negroes. Just blended away into everyday American society.
This great-grandma here is still able to speak 'Anumpa Choctaw' Mississippi 1980s
I studied in Paris one summer through LSU, my roommate Barry spoke Cajun French. And let me tell you Cajun French melts an actual French persons brain. Top 10 funniest things I’ve ever seen. They’d ask him to stop and speak English
For the life of me, I can’t fathom their arrogance.
Trump’s rise & the gutting of Civil Rights era gains is just as much a failure of the Black Political Class as it is a failure of Democrats more generally.
Deleting comments won’t change that. And they haven’t been saying it for 20 years (as Monique Pressley says in her YouTube reply).
They spent the last 10 years marginalizing the ADOS movement for aggressively challenging Democrats for how they neglect their ADOS base.
The attached video is from 7 years ago when Kamala Harris first ran for president. It was obvious then that Pressley didn’t understand lineage. We never said Harris wasn’t “Black enough”.
We said Harris—an Indian/Jamaican— couldn’t run on a lineage she didn’t have and we weren’t voting for Obama 2.0.
We said Harris needed a serious BLACK AGENDA. Pressley said Harris was getting harsher treatment because she’s a woman. She was DEFENDING Harris. And regardless of the sexism female candidates face, Harris still needed a serious BLACK AGENDA. They should’ve been pressuring Harris instead of rallying around her.
Fast forward to now and Pressley and her guest on her YouTube show are having the revelation that they *DO* need a Black agenda. That they *DO* need to be agenda driven rather than just aligned with the Democratic Party. That they are about a decade TOO LATE.
They spent far too much time defending Democrats instead of pressuring them. They should get honest about that & take some responsibility for their political incompetence.
Thing is @jasonrileywsj Obama isn’t a standard Black American candidate. He had:
1/ A white mama.
2/ Was raised by white grandparents.
3/ Had a Kenyan father (white Americans prefer their Blacks foreign, which is why they tend to adopt Haitians, Ethiopians etc.)
4/ Engaged in the same racist tropes as white candidates.
And even with that, he’s the ONLY Black president in the history of this country.
His election was an outlier because the man who won has very little in common with descendants of slavery. Obama’s election proves absolutely nothing.
The real test would be whether this country is willing to elect an #ADOS president who was shaped the slavery, Jim Crow, Reconstruction etc.
