Here is what the bootlickers love to say.
> Twitter isnt real
> The outrage is fake
> The protests aren't working
> It's only a small percent
> You're posts are doing nothing
These are all the things the bootlickers will say to gaslight you into believing nothing is going to happen in a desperate attempt to save PlayStation and Sony from dying.
However the stocks tell a much different story.
It is in fact working.
Keep fighting, keep the pressure.
Hold the line!
@Shunkiroth Mira, mira… Que buenas noticias. Asi seguira cayendo, si Dios quiere.✌🏼Asegurense los huevos y sigan luchando, gamers. Los que somos verdaderos estamos aqui para el largo plazo. 🏋🏼♀️
@SkullZSkeleton Burn, Sony. BURN. 😈 This may sound radical to some, but take PlayStation with you to hell...so perhaps it can be reborn from the ashes. 🔥 Keep your voices LOUD, gamers! Hold the line and, if you mean it, don't engage in hypocrisy by buying digital PSN games like CoD Black Ops.
The post of this 'Nerry' that you highlighted shows how ignorant people like him are to how great the golden age of PlayStation was. I feel truly grateful and blessed to have lived through that time. What a time it was. Maybe PlayStation needs to crash in order to remember itself.
Scott gets it. This is so much bigger than Sony.
We all need to take a step back and ask ourselves what kind of world we actually want to live.
Because the standards we accept today become the standards the industry follows tomorrow.
In this case, do we want a gaming industry that wins by making the best games? Or one that wins by finding better ways to monetize us?
One where ownership is optional? Where preserving games is an afterthought? Where psychologists are hired to increase spending instead of designers being hired to make games more fun?
None of this happened overnight.
It happened because consumers accepted one compromise at a time. And we don't have to accept this.
@BigLipRadio@sincespacies It is evident they enjoy employing psychological warfare, in addition to their corporate greed.
Well, well... I know how they would react if this hits him in their pockets in the longterm.
@WolfGangPlays Clever. 😉
As a licensed therapist, I'd say I'm still at stage 2: anger.
But, that cycle will not progress further for me in the traditional sense because...I REFUSE to come to a place where I bow the knee by continuing to give Sony money.
Brazil has proposed a bill with new protections for gamers 🇧🇷
• After support ends, publishers would need to either enable offline play, provide the community with tools to keep the game running, or offer proportional refunds
• Publishers would have to disclose online-server requirements and guarantee at least 2 years of support after launch in Brazil
• Players would need to be notified at least 180 days before a game's online services are shut down
• Lawmakers have also requested an investigation into Sony’s plan to end physical PlayStation disc production in 2028

@CultureCrave Come on EU. Come on NA. We must make an effort to catch up to this move by Brazil to protect consumer rights.
Perhaps you can help us 👀...
@FTC@ACLU
@SrcasticGamer HOLD the line, gamers (those of us who truly mean it). Do not shut up about this because, if Sony gets away with this unscathed, there is likely no going back to consumer-tailored policies. Furthermore, let's push for legal consequences. We need to push for consumer protection.
@RinoTheBouncer Lost in Vivo for PC because it is not available in another format and, because I can easily find a way to download it onto my computer to own outside of Steam. PC is not a closed ecosystem without a way around it like PlayStation wants to become.
@RinoTheBouncer Agreed. 💯 We must target the pockets of the shareholders. We must push to raise awareness to legal entities about the importance of consumer protections. 👊🏼
@RinoTheBouncer Thank goodness that someone with power somewhere is taking a stand against Sony. Now, if only someone in the USA would take up this cause... 🤔
@Glassdoorgamer@NovaBran Not everyone who is advocating for player choice and consumer rights has given in to buying Black Ops. This is a weak percentage of those who have said they would boycott PlayStation products going forward. 👀
@SIEK_PlayGround Although we who support physical discs and player choice are only a section of your consumer base, we who have integrity will continue to boycott PlayStation products. Keep your new controllers. 💯
@TJAirborneT@SeeReax@PS_Support_US You know what, @TJAirborneT? You're right. I now see what @SeeReax meant. I misinterpreted his post. I was wrong. I took his post as advocating for the disposal of physical discs but, he seems to have been advocating for the option to choose between physical and digital. 👍
