Social care gets about 1 million budget compared to millions spent on NHS each year. Even for health funded the icb do not pay enough to cover cost

@Jenny_1884 Elderly care homes the expensive beds are covering the costs of social care or health funded beds. The uplifts the council and health give each year do not cover the costs so each year, so to break even they raise their other patients costs. That's why lots of homes have closed

@real_shirelass @RNLI The difficulty is it's a charity whose mandate is to rescue anyone who needs help on the water. Same as the air ambulance charities help anyone including the worst prisoners including Roy whiting. genuinely feel torn with both these charities as I know they do a lot of good work.

Plus a village up in arms that wants their own football club home as they only moved as no changing rooms or toilets! Apparently done deal!

@RupertLowe10 I would say anyone needing a job can come work in care sector but some bright spark now has decided they need references for past 10 years so that plus restricting sponsorship etc there is going to be a massive social care crisis even bigger than we already have.

@StagecoachYrks just found out road closure Pitt street darfield to George Street on 15th April where will 27 buses divert as typical come home from wombwell to pitt street so need to plan my travel

@stella_immanuel As for autism there are descriptions of people with autistic traits from 18th century over the years various terms used until 70s. Typically severe types were in institutions. Didn't mean autism didn't exist we just know more now too.

@stella_immanuel They knew children were impacted by their diet affecting them in 1880s by 1950s they had started to discover coeliac disease and by 1970s other gluten sensitivity including finding a specific gene that can cause it. Nowadays we know coeliac disease not allergy but autoimmune

If supermarkets charged the 40p a loaf for gluten free bread like they do cheapest normal bread wouldn't be needed. Until then be grateful you don't have this autoimmune condition.

If you stopped the coeliac supplies you would end up with more people in hospital it's autoimmune not lifestyle choice.

@SheffieldArena @jmrichards23 @steelershockey Why on earth would I go to the arena until the rules are clearer. I don't want my personal medical information being shared. Saw other posts people having to wait to have their medication checked you are not medically trained so what gives you the right?
