A lot of marriages become sexless not because folks stop loving each other but because life be life’n. Stress kids work health issues resentment and just plain lack of effort all play a role. According to research about 15 to 20 percent of married couples are in what's considered a sexless marriage meaning less than 10 times a year. That’s more common than folks admit. And yes some women just don’t like sex like that or they tie sex to emotional connection so if they ain’t feeling loved or appreciated they shut down. Some men don’t communicate and expect sex to be automatic. But also we gotta be real and say some people get married thinking it’s gonna be like a movie or a never ending honeymoon. When reality hits and effort is required both partners slack off. The truth is you gotta keep choosing each other daily. If you ain’t mentally emotionally and spiritually connected the physical part gonna suffer too. Marriage is work and if y’all don’t talk openly about sex needs wants and changes it’ll turn cold fast.
And I say time and time again know what you sign up for. It's like any kind of commitment, you got to know what you sign up for otherwise shit gets in disarray
