Went to see one of his docs today - hadn't seen him for 6 months. He told Dwight he saw a lot of improvement in his walking since last visit

We made the trek to NJ for Adam & Megan's wedding. First long cross country trip for DAS. Ok going out - little tougher on him coming home

He also did cross punches last night in his work out and had great balance. This was also a first.

DAS sat on a stool 14 3/4" off the floor w/o his canes and repeated it 10 times. A first to go that low. It was with his trainer.

DAS jumped 30 times today in his workout--a first. 10 square & 20 split stance.He was holding onto a rail but still.....HE JUMPED!

DAS has visit with another PM&R doc this past week.She told him to plan for a 5 year recovery for BP issues & parasympathetic systems.

DAS able to walk some without his canes, i.e., taking things out of refrig or putting them back in. Works outs going well, still 3x a week.

No new info really.Xcept I finally caved and got DAS a german shepherd puppy. He named her Zoe - calls her Zoey.

DAS doing ok. Gaining strength still dealing with pain. Seeing pts two days a week for 2 hrs - no surgeries currently.

DAS was standing w/o canes and doing flexibility exercises yesterday. Amazing for me to see

DAS saw pts for 2 hrs today a first for him.Was very tired afterwards.Will attempt to do another 2 next week.

Been awhile since posting.DAS still prgrssng, gttng strngr. 2day golfed with us for Father's day.He did the putting.

This week DAS working with trainer and he had him do 2 stairs at a time on his work out. This is a first, amazing.

Watched DAS w/his trainer yesterday. Making great progress. Amazing to see the things he can do now. Still walking w/2 canes.Practices w/1

We went down to Grant trauma ICU this evening to see 2 of the nurses that took care of DAS while he was there. It was a great to see them.

Walked 1/2 mile outside today with only one cane - a first.

This morning Dwight walked on an incline on the treadmill - a first. Also today he is walking in the house using only 1 cane - another 1st.

Another first today.Dwight always brought the recycle bin & garbage cans back to the garage (I take them out) and he did it today.
