Ironic ... Maybe there is Karma?
Security concerns with offshore and H-1B labor have now reached Congress itself.
RxNT, a healthcare software company that provides electronic prescribing and medical record systems, actively uses H-1B visas and offshore development teams (primarily in India). Like many mid-sized healthcare tech firms, they combine some U.S. staff with lower-cost foreign labor to control expenses.
This week, lawmakers and their families were notified of a major data breach involving prescription and medical records handled by a contractor for the Congress Office of the Attending Physician.
Whether this specific breach traces back to offshore or H-1B teams is not yet public. But the pattern is now impossible to ignore. When critical systems handling sensitive American data, whether government, healthcare, or infrastructure, are built or maintained by teams with minimal skin in the game and weaker accountability, breaches become almost inevitable.
Congress has spent years looking the other way while agencies and contractors offshore sensitive work and import visa labor for cost savings. Now the consequences are landing directly on their own doorstep.
This is basic systems risk. You
cannot offshore or visa-replace the people responsible for protecting critical data and then act surprised when the protections fail.
The same dynamic we have warned about for years in engineering,
manufacturing, and infrastructure has finally hit the people who make the rules.
Ironic

@VBierschwale Americans built their products. H1Bs have broken them. Young Americans will build similar products and take back our jobs and our country.
If i wasn't optimistic I'd be curled up in the fetal position bawling.

I did not see this coming, but my election has become an inflection point for our whole country. Today we make history.
Will you be part of this historic day by voting, calling friends who can vote, posting to social media, or making a donation?
Spread the word fellow patriots!
@missiville_@RepClayFuller@RepOgles at what point do we realize they are just talk? Probably right around the point they don't answer "Why didn’t you list End OPT & H1B?"
Remember the tyranny of Covid lock downs? The seniors in high school during the lock downs are now 22 - 24 years old. Add to that the fact they can't find jobs and will never obtain the American dream of buying a house and having a family.
Is anyone surprised they want to BURN IT ALL DOWN? I've never had this much hope in the young as today. Encourage every youngster you know to get involved.
My silence ends NOW 🎙️
For 36 years, U.S. Congress’s disastrous policies have destroyed millions of American futures while companies got rich exploiting the system and casting skilled American workers aside.
No more ❌I’m done letting this be about “what’s good for business” or “what’s good for politician’s pockets”.
We are a country of it’s people, not a global economic zone!
I’m demanding accountability!
No American should be left behind.
It’s time to finally EXPOSE the human wreckage, SHAME the exploiters, and fight for American workers first.
THIS IS A CALL TO ACTION:
⚔️ Make it loud.
Drag this topic into the spotlight where they can’t ignore us🔦
The louder we roar, the more others impacted will find the courage to speak up too.
Our leaders must hear We the People - not corporate lobbyists.
Share now if you’re done watching American workers get screwed. 🔥
@j_fishback until we create a machine that can detect the human soul, i agree for the benefit of the doubt we need to push it all the way back to conception.
