@chris_emerson@scotlandphp@phpnw@phpsouthcoast@phpne The date move and eventual cancelation of the 2020 event really sapped my motivation for conference organizing :/
In addition, I don't think we're done with COVID and insufficient efforts are being made to mitigate it.
Maybe 2025 will see a return of PHP Yorkshire :)

Website and email updates will be going out when I have time to do them.
Please RT this thread to get the message out in the meantime.
We will update again once we have further news.
It will come as no surprise to most that we will need to postpone the event for a second time. The July date was, in hindsight, overly optimistic however this was the latest date the venue was willing to let us move to under our contractual terms at the time.
We would be planning to have the same speakers at the rearranged 2021 event, subject to their availability and all tickets and sponsorship packages from 2020 would be rolled over.
@BinaryKitten Yes, tweeted about it earlier this week; emails, website updates and such going out at the weekend.
Postponing again, not sure when till as venue staff are on furlough.
We have a new date for PHP Yorkshire 2020: 24th & 25th July 2020.
We will be contacting ticket holders individually about the change of date and their options going forward but in the meantime we've published an FAQ on the website

@Hex_sk It's going to be postponed again unfortunately. The venue staff are on furlough so we've been unable to make new arrangements as of yet.
They wanted to go to September, we wanted a bit later, but couldn't sort anything out in time.
Bit of a holding pattern for now :/
*IMPORTANT UPDATE*
