Met with Grade 6 Morning Meeting Representatives along with Mrs. Sedlock and Ms. Crosby. Just want to thank our students for taking on this school leadership role. Looking forward to future meetings. #togetherIsBetter#MorningMeeting!!
Time is precious and I truly appreciate the team that took time out of their day to help prepare for our Minute To Win It Assembly tomorrow! Doing for others demonstrates care, empathy, and compassion and the staff here at PHS embodies these qualities. Thank you!
Big day today at PHS. Staff versus students in a PHS version of “Minute To Win It”. What’s at stake? Pizza party for either staff or students before our Winter break. We’re ready to go!! #GameOn
BREAKING NEWS…… It’s official. The 5th & 6th grade PHS Students are victorious and they have earned the pizza party in December. Thank you to all who participated and helped. Great morning at PHS!
Lots of amazing opportunities for our students here at Perry Hill. Among them is clubs. Here are some of our students in Puzzle Club. This club promotes problem-solving and analyzing. Check out the pics!! #PHSClubDay#ThinkingOpportunities
Two of my Grade 5 friends had lunch with me today in my office and had a lot of things to share about why they love coming to PHS every day! They also had great hashtag ideas. (See below) #EatingLunchables#MeatballSub
Morning Meeting today was fantastic! Kids building the tallest tower in one room, quick homeroom meeting in another, and another homeroom getting a morning workout in the gym. Thanks to our PHS Staff for your commitment and enthusiasm to Morning Meeting. #MorningMeeting
During Morning Meeting today, kids were sharing what they did this weekend, their mood, and how to properly greet one another. Thanks to staff and students for their approach to building community. #togetherisbetter
Where’s Mr. Piselli? Just had our second set of small group assemblies and they were great. Hint: I’m in one of the pictures and I wasn’t paying attention - was talking to my neighbor. See if you can find me.
Today we started our first small group assemblies with some of our Fifth and Sixth Grade teams. So glad we did this. It was an opportunity for our kids to get to know our Main Office Team and Support Staff and it also allowed us to work on building our learning community at PHS!
Due to the recent reports on the heat index over the next two days, the Shelton Public Schools will be early dismissing on Wednesday, September 6th, and Thursday, September 7th, 2023.
One of the biggest worries for our new Grade 5 students is lockers. Today is Day 3 and here are our Grade 5 students successfully opening their own lockers. I don’t think they’re worried anymore.
