Suggestions for best haplotype network software?
~15 years ago, I was using TCS for haplotype networks. I remember it kept crashing on me. What are people using today? I'd appreciate any advice!
You may be a good fit for this position if...
*You like the smell of an insect museum.
*You get satisfaction from writing your own script or function.
*You know the host associations for all your favorite bees.

Advice needed, please!
Do you purchase the warranty offered for lab equipment?
I'm buying an expensive device. Item costs ~$30K & 3rd party warranty is $5K for yrs 2-5 (seller covers 1st yr). I don't think it's worth it and would be glad to get thoughts on lab item warranties.
Yes, we'll have a great group of collaborators on this project! And there will be grad students at several institutions working towards the same larger goals. @bramic21 is also bringing on a PhD student for next fall, so check out that opportunity, too.
A connected PhD position from our Bees of the World grant. You'll get to collaborate with a diverse team of academic and government researchers on a very important topic. Apply now either for WSU or USU! @thecriticalbee @DanforthLab@PhyloSolving
