What a great day it was for @TullowCommSch yesterday at the @orienteeringIRE schools event where TCS students brought home prizes in all age groups. This is credit to the all the hard work the PE department are doing with orienteering and the brilliant students.

A massive congrats to our boys u19 soccer team who won the @faischools Carlow/Kilkenny league Div 2 final today beating Castledermot in a very tight game by 2 goals to 1. Well done boys @TullowCommSch

So it’s Maths week @TullowCommSch and we used this activity to do some Maths work with them. Students have to scan the codes so we know they doing correct order then solve the maths riddle at each point

One of our favourite lessons of the year using the app iOrienteering and the school map we made 10 courses around the school and students go in teams of three with a phone or PE iPad between each team and cover the 2km teacher gets notifications of all checkpoints scanned
