@physicsramble @cossettej Put the heavy car on an incline. Un-couples weight from normal force. Can adjust angle of incline until the one on the incline "wins".
Uh oh! College Board PSAT administration glitched out today. Lots of schools across the country abandoned testing. Another lost school day and egg on the face of America's least loved "non-profit" monopoly. #PSAT#glitch#testing#CollegeBoard#fail
If this story about Danny Trejo rescuing a woman from a flipped car by shouting “SUPERPOWERS!” didn’t exist, @theisb would have to write it.

@MarketyMark@UniverseAndMore @TpTdotcom Not only do most teachers not have the right to sell the materials that they develop, they do NOT have the right to give it away for free, either. My district talked to teachers about this very issue during summer PD this year.
@DA_Banks@PeteMcNY@distractons@RiPhysKin @ayushumd @DrishtiEthics@quarkchocho @MyleneDiPenta @danny_doucette Maybe this is why I have such a negative reaction to the slide that @RiPhysKin posted. I teach K-12 physics. I *don't* think that I'm teaching only by using Clancy novels. I disagree with the slide that improving our teaching always makes the world worse. Maybe different in uni?
@PeteMcNY@RiPhysKin@DA_Banks @ayushumd @DrishtiEthics@quarkchocho@distractons @MyleneDiPenta @danny_doucette One could make the same claim about exercise. If we teach children to be athletes, do we "arm the state against ourselves"? *Everything* is tainted by military. Do we therefore do nothing, ever? No literacy. No numeracy. No arts. (Art is military propaganda, after all!)
Congrats to these B-CC students, selected to be Top 100 national finalists in the AAPT High School Physics Photo Contest:
Irene Han (Honors Physics)
Merak Tandon (IB Physics)
Andrew Spiro (AP Physics)
The winners will be announced this Wednesday.
