Somebody said live action DC at its best tries to be Lord of the Rings.
At worst it settled for being discount marvel.
Heartbreaking. So much potential down the drain
I'm really glad Zack Snyder & co. didn't include some ridiculous 2-Minute evacuation scene to pander to a portion of fans who get mad when actions from powerful beings have consequences on a world of regular ones. 'MAN OF STEEL' is incredible.
Snyderverse "criticisms" are just DC stans lying about something that never happened then getting mad at said lie. Ironically it's you against supes having any sort of personality you just want him smiling & waving 24/7, like a caricature. Pure projection
DC is just run by a bunch of insecure executives chasing that MCU audience, which never works & makes me wonder why they keep doing it. DC only resonates whenever they go 'dark' or at least take themselves seriously
A glimpse of HOPE. A new film from Na Hong-Jin starring Hwang Jung-min, Zo In-sung, Hoyeon, Alicia Vikander, Michael Fassbender, Taylor Russell, and Cameron Britton. Coming to theaters Fall 2026.
if this is the original uncut version then this is easily one of the most exciting and significant re-releases of the past decade. hopefully people are finally ready for it
Jorge Castañeda, under the alias Dos Diablos, is a Mexican artist who works primarily with oil paint to construct portraits of deformed creatures and unsettling figures, combining technical resources drawn from classical painting with imagery tied to horror, the religious, and the grotesque. @dosdiablosdos 👹🔥
“Practice any art… no matter how well or badly, not to get money and fame, but to experience becoming, to find out what's inside you, to make your soul grow.”
- McKellen reciting Vonnegut
Comic book stans don't like movies; they want to see comic content in movie form. They couldn't care less about film as a medium, just want to play with their action figures. Hence their disdain for auteurs that adapted CBMs like Nolan, Raimi & Snyder
