What makes pickleball so addictive?
It's easy.
Anyone can play.
You can be as competitive as you want.
That's the recipe.
The sport caters to such a wide audience. I mean can you name game where someone in their 70's can be competitive against a 20 year old?
Not likely.
Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the US and the momentum is not slowing down.
The Picklr has sold over 300 franchises. The business of the sport is booming.
I saw an article today that over the next 5 years pickleball will be a 4 billion dollar industry.
That's billion, with a B.
The sport is thriving both from a professional aspect and an amateur one. Everyone wants in.
I was talking with a friend today whose son is a D1 level golfer. I mean the kid is incredible. He's only 16 and is lights out.
He told his dad, my friend, that if it wasn't for the money and scholarship potential with golf, he'd quit and go play pickleball all the time.
That's the power of this sport.
It's right on the line of an unhealthy addiction and this guy right here, the guy whose words you are reading. He's hooked.
I'm all in on pickleball.
In the wise words of Samin Odhwani, it's time to push all the chips to the middle.
