Are you concerned by the incredibly high number of COVID-19 cases in the UK, the rising numbers of hospitalisations and deaths?
If so, please RT this. The government need to start taking responsibility 🚨
Here's a headline from 2016. A government committed to levelling up would have sorted out the GP crisis 5 years ago. In fact, the NHS has been unsafely staffed for the 34 years I've worked in it. Rather than blaming the staff, why not vote in a govt to deliver to safe staffing?
Why has England decided it’s OK that hundreds and hundreds of people die of COVID-19 every week just to prevent the mild inconvenience of wearing face masks and other basic public health measures?
The history books will look back at this in horror

Astounding we are not more angry about this. We don’t have to put up with high case numbers, hospitalisations and deaths. It’s Govt choice - they’re choosing to let us die by the hundred, day after day after day.
My husband’s at work today as an ICU consultant. On a personal level, I’m incredibly proud of everything he has done to care for people. But NHS staff have not had a break since this pandemic began.
💙If you appreciate NHS staff, pls RT + follow @EveryDoctorUK 💙
There were over 40,000 COVID cases in the UK today, and many, many people are still dying (over 750 in the past 7 days who have had a positive test in the past 28 days).
This pandemic isn’t over. Many people are vulnerable.
Please wear a mask.
Who do you trust? Doctors, or the right-wing press?
Because quite frankly we’re being gaslighted by the government and the right-wing media, and I’ve never seen NHS staff morale lower.
If you support doctors, RT 💙
The doctors we speak to are so worried + so tired. The health service is failing because of the government’s lack of investment+ their lack of attention to patient and staff needs
If you want the NHS to survive pls RT +follow @EveryDoctorUK. We’re doctors fighting for the NHS💙
While I’m delighted that cases are coming down, we are now seeing the impact of previously letting cases rise unchecked on the death figures.
138 covid deaths reported yesterday and 542 in the last week.
For me this is unacceptable and unnecessary.
Sunak's message to young people to "go back to the office if you want to get on" is not only tone deaf (given disproportionate impact of #COVID19 on youth unemployment), but also says *absolutely nothing* about the requirements and £ support for safe, VENTILATED work environments
The proposed changes to the Official Secrets Act are very worrying. NHS staff struggle to speak up in the media; we work with journalists to break stories while protecting their identities. It’s incredibly important that doctors can speak up; it keeps people safe.@EveryDoctorUK
If you support @EveryDoctorUK, please could you RT this so others will see and follow us?
We’re a doctor-led organisation holding this government to account. We need the public to understand what’s happening to the NHS 💙
Thanks guys! Ju 🌷
Unless a politician actively opposes all NHS privatisation, I don’t think they can truly say that they’re interested in the needs of ordinary people in the UK.
A communications campaign and online tool just won’t suffice, when women and girls are being harassed on streets on a daily basis.
So when will Government explicitly legislate to criminalise street harassment?
Priti Patel’s Home Office wants to make it a crime for journalists to embarrass the govt by publishing leaked official documents. The maximum penalty would be 14 years in prison. This would put British journalists on a par with foreign spies.
