(2/2) A real blessing to a man who plays his heart out every single time and is the epitome of hard work and dedication and a true inspiration for any sportsperson. You are for me the greatest of all time. 🐐👑 @Cristiano
Delhi NCR has too much pollution seems like an urban myth for large part of the year. I purchased Xiaomi air purifier last month thinking there is too much pollution in Gurugram (where I live).
I was surprised to see PM 2.5 figure as 25 in my bed room at the time of taking this photo. Currently it is just 13. Even in my study room it has never been more than 50. Most times it is around 15 to 25.
This has been for last 3-4 weeks. Rain or no rain, this figure moves between 10 to 50. I was under impression that PM 2.5 is above 100 for large part of the year.
Pollution is high but only during November December Paralli season it seems. Same cars, trucks and buses are plying on roads but PM 2.5 is not too high for last 1 month.
Even in Tokyo when I had visited AQI was around 50. In Canada when I had visited due to forest fires AQI was 150 type. So Delhi is not that bad during summers. In monsoon the AQI pretty low in Delhi. Even in February it is not high. So leaving November and December we can easily survive in Delhi air.
Basically, in just 12 years, India has done or exceeded what was achieved in the last 60 years. India will be able to reap the benefits of all this work only in the coming decades. And only if there's political stability. That's why the adversaries are earnestly attacking now.
Ref tells Saka to hurry up and take the corner with stoppage time up. Saka does his usual slow-walk to run down the clock. The ref calmly waits, and the absolute second Saka gets into position? He blows for half-time.
Absolute cinema. Masterclass game management for a final.
Arsenal got so used to getting away with murder from Premier League refs that when someone actually enforces the rules, they think they’re being robbed.
Credit where it’s due tho, they played some demonic football to get here. But if PL refs weren't so intimidated by Arteta’s touchline tantrums and fooled by their theatrics, Arsenal wouldn’t be parading a PGMOL trophy today.
Justice served in Europe! 🫶🏼
Some may hate Delhi NCR for many reasons, but one thing it gets right is that people from across India rarely feel like outsiders here, a true capital in that sense.
In other major cities like Mumbai, Bengaluru or Chennai, migrants still speak of regionalism or language-based exclusion.
Some even don't want to accept those who were born there and speak the local language fluently, just because they don't carry a regionally familiar surname.
Therefore, Delhi NCR, for all its flaws, still perhaps the only major city that genuinely offers that sense of inclusiveness.
And actually if you see, every major city is built by people coming from everywhere.
Growth itself is rarely a local-only story.
And ya not all are like this, but those who actually have no stake in building a "Maximum City" are often the ones with "Minimum Brains", dividing people on the basis of region and language instead of treating fellow Indians as their own.
South Delhi will always outmog every district in India because urban luxury is not just malls or real estate prices, it is tree cover, shaded streets, wide roads, walkability and transit access.
Walked nearly 10 km today from Hauz Khas to Vasant Kunj post leg day via Qutub Institutional Area and you can literally feel the temperature drop under the tree canopy. Cool breeze, shaded corridors and surprisingly continuous sidewalks across most stretches except parts of Katwaria Sarai & Masoodpur urban villages.
Delhi’s ridge and green cover reduce local surface temperatures by 2-5°C in several pockets. This is exactly why Indian cities need aggressive urban afforestation and shaded pedestrian infra to fight the urban heat island effect in a tropical climate.
Its simple, More trees = cooler cities, lower artificial ventilation demand, healthier walking environments and better public transit usage.
"Vijay (with a personal net worth of Rs. 650 crores) will personally give Rs. 2500 each to 3 crore women in TN."
"Modi opened an Adani built airport for Rs. 1500 crores. Why doesn't he give Rs. 1 crore each to 150 crore Indians and make everyone rich?"
This is the level of many Indian youngsters.
Now, the problem I see is, SM platforms (especially Meta ones) are full of these emotional youngsters from India, with scientifically proven lower IQ than their previous generations, who are being psyoped and programmed by India's adversaries - Deep State West, GLISCO-DS, Pak, China etc.
To cultivate them as a potent anti-India force inside India.
And India is unfortunately doing very less as a country to prevent this. It requires state level resources to fight the psyops and programming of India's youth via SM by nation-state adversaries. And to re-guide them in national interests, no matter whatever their political or ideological views.
#OpSindoor On this day a year ago, India demonstrated what it has always been capable of. 88 hours included hitting multiple terror infra, paralyzing Pakistan's Air defence. Hitting all major Pak air bases at will including the pride of Pakistan Air Force - Nur Khan. #IndiaWins
