Jalen Brunson sacrificed over $100 million to give the Knicks a better chance to compete for a title.
Tonight he’s an NBA champion and a legend in New York for life.
@FlagOnThePlayX@MRIRBT Oh yeah I mean we've gotten used to commercials. Its when you go to the bathroom or grab another drink or something. But we all HATE the constant panning to celebrities.
@ClipsLand More seats in a more diverse city. Over 800 languages are spoken in NYC, no matter what nation makes the finals there will be a huge community who are from and/or have ancestry from that country. I think its as simple as that but I could be wrong perhaps it's something else
@PeterKelma65741@NATINGTOSEE I'm American and used to waking up at absurd. times to watch the games and honestly, I kind of miss it lol it's like a world cup tradition. But being able to watch every game this go round is quite refreshing tbh
@Castiillo_Rm I think in 10 - 20 years they'll be really good. That's the generation that parents started not to let their kids play American football because of all of the research that has come out in regards to CTE.
@makefanduelpoor@BBATE08@Oakland_1st@byBDavis Semantics. Dirk did that on a team that was under .500 and had multiple centers that they kept in the paint. Dirk was typically guarded by forwards as well and did not draw out the openents big. Big drawing out big and league influence is the crux, not first tall guy to shoot 3s
@NicksChippedBat@Oakland_1st@byBDavis I'd say Steph obviously contributed more to the overall culture of 3s but Bosh highlighted the potential advantage of a big who can knock down a 3 that other teams/ players have since tried to emulate.
@NicksChippedBat@Oakland_1st@byBDavis Fair enough. I'm not gonna pretend im old enough to have seen bird play, but he played the 3 where as Bosh is 6'11 and played the 4/5. I don't imagine Bird was drawing the opponents big out to the perimeter like Bosh was. I'm sure there are many layers to this including Steph
@byBDavis People saying Steph are missing the mark. Chris Bosh started it on the Heat. Drawing the other teams big out to the perimeter opens up everything inside. High percentage shots for your guards can now occur closer to the basket.
@Oakland_1st@byBDavis Honestly it's because of Chris Bosh. He was one of the first bigs to shoot 3's and teams realized the value that can bring. Completely opens the floor for cutters in the paint. High percentage shots are much easier to come by when the opponents big isn't in the paint.
