“EL PUPITRE ES UN ESCONDITE PARA COBARDES… FIRMÁ UN CONTRATO CON LAS FF.AA. DE UCRANIA — ¡SÉ UN VERDADERO HÉROE!”
(Ministerio de Defensa de Ucrania)
vergüenza → masculinidad → sacrificio
Mensaje:
Attorney for a Massachusetts mother who allegedly murdered her two children (not Lindsay Clancy) asks for her case to be dismissed, cites "mental illness."
Janette MacAusland, 49, is accused of killing her two children, Kai and Ella MacAusland, ages 6 and 7.
"I'm hoping that this district attorney's office and the new district attorney elect takes a look at this and takes a different approach in how we prosecute women suffering from profound mental health problems," attorney Joseph Krowski said.
So are we just going to cite "mental illness" every time a woman commits a crime?
I don't think it's actually far-fetched to think the lone juror may end up receiving threats against his life and, heaven forbid, an actual attempt. The media coverage has just been crazy. Have we ever seen a juror's decision scrutinised like this is public before?
Listen to this three times in a row.
“We weren’t trying to figure out if she *murdered* *the* children. She did. And she’s admitting that…”
I know it’s a subtle linguistic distinction. But “murder” is literally the term for the crime. “Killing” is the legally neutral way of describing the act - since not all killing is murder, but all murder is killing. Once you acknowledge it’s murder, it is by definition the crime.
It’s probably just improper use of grammar from an ignorant juror, but it’s an indication as to the level of intellect of this juror (and the others).
And notice the way this jury member describes Lindsay’s children. Lindsay murdered “the children”. Not *her* children.
Dissociation. Separation of responsibility. Distancing.
As if “snapping” is always evidence of lack of criminal responsibility…
These jurors speaking publicly has been their biggest mistake. It eliminates any doubt as to what went on in that deliberation room.
Crazy jurors arguing from a conclusion, and not towards one.
Regarding the Lindsay Clancy prosecution, juror Kellie Farina said, “I just found it to be harsh…..Very, very harsh.
The calculated slaughter of 3 children wasn’t harsh.
The PROSECUTION was harsh.
WTF
One lone juror that thought you shouldn't kill your kids
One out of 12 people that didn't think you should kill your kids
11 people thought it was OK to kill your kids
Let that sink in
Just remember, guys, the moment you legally marry a woman the state gives her the unbridled power to destroy your life. And the odds are substantial that she will.
You don't have to like it to know it's true.

The holdout juror was henpecked by these women (and SIX others!) for almost 40 hours and still refused to acquit Lindsay Clancy, the child murderer.
An absolute hero.
