@TARSRel0aded On the other hand, you’ve got to commute, which will throw a wrench on your life. 1 hour is a long commute. But if that 2-4 day commute can be solidly a 2 day commute; seems like a good opportunity on the facts.
@TARSRel0aded First, thank God your wife won that battle with leukemia. On the job move, you have to make the choice. If you’re excited for the new opportunity, think it’s good for your career (and thus your family) and on you also get away from a bad boss whom you’re suing. Seems like upside
@DevinWanzor@gas_biz Very cool! The school I trained in went for sale while I was a student. I thought long and hard about putting in an offer. Happy to see someone pull that off! Best of luck.
@gas_biz@CaptBob_Nomadic I take my family all the time. Continuous training and currency is key. As is aeronautical decision making. Biggest issue in GA is the pilot, and that you can control.
@gas_biz Got my certificate and just bought an airplane. If you can pull it off financially, it’s an incredible experience. Every time I take off, I am awed by the privilege I’m experiencing. If you want to try it, get in the air. If you’re around DC, I’d be happy to take you up.
@VincentParry2@MZHemingway Let’s grab a beer if you’re still around. I’m in Del Ray and agree with everything in the article. One way to improve the situation is for like minded conservatives to come together.
@praytherosary Saint Peter, who denied Jesus prior to the crucifiction, became the first pope and was martyred by being crucified up side down on Nero’s order.
