Now’s a very good time to see what is resilient and what’s not in our space.

Yes everything is on chain and no ordinals will disappear if Magic Eden shuts down the marketplace.

But save your JSONs! A chaotic era is coming! Who knows what you will be trading on chain? Do you trust these new marketplaces, all coming together in a few weeks, likely partly vibecoded, to ensure that they have the right inscriptions for every collections?

If you collect only parent-child art then the answer is that you don’t even need to trust them, you can check for yourself in 5 seconds.

@CyberSeaNFT For real. It's good enough on a crud or demo app, but I wouldn't trust it with highly sensitive bitcoin related code yet.

Some people will trust a marketplace, sign a bad tx and loose their inscriptions
