@NoctisLunaeVT Another small note you won't find anywhere in game I think is the belt speed
Each belt moves items at a rate of 1 every 2 seconds, so if you use a merge belts into 1 the stuff like refining units 2/s can backup because 1 belt can't keep up. It's better to use separate belt there
Just wanted to say how amazing Cosplayers are because it really takes insane amounts of time and dedication to work on the outfits and to bring a character to life, you can just feel and see how much joy they bring to everyone around them.
Cheers to the Endfield cosplayers!
@muffinDiesAlone@Sunny__Sophie__ Lone trail has two main plots running concurrently in the story which are tied together but can stand alone, which is part of the word count. neither plot is really a sub-plot, just two separate main threads. One more self contained in the event story and one main plot impacting
@Hieulegen27 I believe they did a lot of hiring and expanding relatively recently (before endfield released).
I would think some of the mini-game events are probably projects for the Jr devs while they get skilled up and they can keep the update pipeline going with them
@SuMZer0reZMuS@MKniferton I believe it's also baked into the PS5 system/firmware that if you don't login to PSN every 30 days on the console it will stop you from launching the digital games you've purchased.
@GlitchAce I misread that last bubble as "Miku is everything, okay?" As if she was demanding that instead of the speaker asking if everything was okay, lol
@nullpodion@Hinahaii Only time will tell, but there is at least a legitimate reason to feel *concern* as a fan that the "everything cool will be arts unit" is a thing.
Because that's the easiest to work with and these devs work on insanly fast schedules
@nullpodion@Hinahaii Everyone in this thread clearly likes if not *loves* this game and franchise.
We can also agree that design limitations from the weapon system is bad.
And walking back on past commitments is also bad.
And that the dev team is in a bit of a pickle with this.
@nullpodion@Hinahaii And we can at least agree that is the reason people like me aren't happy with the situation
Is it a deal breaker? Probably not. But to fans of some characters it can be a dissapointment
Some people feel more strongly.
Aesthetics are entirely a matter of opinion
Why play defense?
@nullpodion@Hinahaii So the commitment and promise of prominently displaying the equipped weapon is being walked back on is what you're saying.
Which goes to show it was a potentially bad design choice for the game.
That or her weapon blends in perfectly with her design and others won't
@nullpodion@Hinahaii even with this they are now working with self imposed restrictions of the system they made to try and make these unique characters
This will limit Gryphline's options if they don't want to walk back on the equipped weapon displayed prominently on screen. I dont like that limit
@nullpodion@Hinahaii Arknights is a franchise where there is a *lot* of variety in character styles.
I love the designs they're doing in Endfield, but I was concerned with how they would handle the uniqueness of character designed with such a rigid weapon system forcing them to be on screen
@nullpodion@Hinahaii The Catalyst has to be displayed with her character model, because that was set in stone with the game and how they commited to display the weapon you rolled for and equipped with them.
By minimizing that with catalysts it distances themselves from that
@nullpodion@Hinahaii - for a heavy fist hitter.
The devs can't make every unique weapon character use an arts catalyst because there is going to be at least an internal goal for variety.
Which can mean self imposed limitations which can clash with characters or not relevant to their design
@nullpodion@Hinahaii The problem I had with Mi Fu was that at no point in the story or any time I interacted with her was there a sword involved.
You only ever see her fists.
In her *character story* she *only uses her fists*
The only reason she's a greatsword is because there was no design option
