@dkp456 I still have zero feeling in my bum, altered feeling in my left lower leg, no feeling in my toes and in the last two days, numbness in my right elbow. Bet you're glad you asked now, aren't you?😄
@dkp456 For two days before I fell, all I did was sleep. I could hear people talking but didn't want to wake up. I wanted to sleep forever. No idea if that was part of it all, but when I finally got up, my chin was on my chest and I couldn't lift my head up.
@dkp456 Same as it was. It's so frustrating! Can't remember if I said I fell on my left side? Just about every square inch of me was MRI'd, CT'd and xray'd except my left shoulder and that's been causing big pain, but the weird thing is, I can only get comfortable if I sleep on it.
@dkp456 Bingo, bongo, you are bang on. It all goes tits up when I try to do the Stepford thing. Leave me be, I get there in the end, even if my GPS is programmed incorrectly.
@dkp456 Plodding is good, because it means moving forward ( something me and my broken bum are struggling with) You will get there! Northern grit and all that.
@dkp456 I was the only patient who wasn't dressed in a pink gown! I can't conform even if I try hard. I'm sure the place is great, but cookie cutter shit doesn't work for me. I have a name, don't call me sweetheart just because I've got a busted bum!
@dkp456 Haha, well lucky for you if you wish to take up nursing duties, I am slowly regaining my bodily waste function.💩 I was in hospital for ten days and was discharged on Friday to rehab. I lasted 45 minutes there. Im not very compliant apparently. Who'd a thunk it?
We had to say goodbye to Ted on May 14th. His wonderful vet came to the house and I will be eternally grateful to her for making it possible for him to drift away in his bed, being loved on by the people who adored him. Sleep tight big man xxxx
@TwitTartwif I don't know why either. Vaccination is the ONLY way of getting some kind of normality back. Your son is exactly right! Vaccination will hopefully slow down transmission and help keep people like you as safe as possible, whilst protecting the person who's been vax'd. Win win!
