@jim_illini@SethDavisHoops Let’s make sure a 16 loss team gets in because of their conference. That’s much better. Because strength of schedule is really high. Don’t worry that they lost all the games. Strength of schedule should reign supreme. Lose 16 games against good teams. Get in the tourney.
@jim_illini@SethDavisHoops I know what the strength of schedule is. I have never argued that. If Miami were 27-4, this is not an argument. They won every game in front of them for 5 months. Were some ridiculously close? Yes. They won. You can continue to put up strength if schedule. That’s fine. They won.
@jim_illini@SethDavisHoops I have never argued that there are or are not better teams. I also feel like it is fair to ask why a 16 loss team is clearly the team to put in above a 1 loss team
@BenLoewe1@BrettPnazek@SethDavisHoops I will obviously not convince you. My point is simply that the season should count. I understand and can appreciate that a weak schedule should not specifically justify anything. Would you even be willing to recognize that winning 31 consecutive games is difficult? Or no?
@dbryant_MU13@BenLoewe1@SethDavisHoops Again. I have not argued that. My basic point is simply that 5 months of wins should not be wiped out by a day. I have never argued that Miami had better wins than anyone.
BUT THEY WON EVERY GAME FOR 5 MONTHS.
@BrettPnazek@BenLoewe1@SethDavisHoops Cool. Win every game in front of you. Lose one game in a tournament. Teams who have 31 wins = 1. Not asking for a 1 seed. Getting a confirmed 11 or 12 seems okay for a team that won 31 games.
