Delighted to be back at the University of Lancashire. Firstly, I was invited to be a guest at their annual cJAM event. Talking to screenwriting students and then offering two mentorships. As well as being asked to deliver a workshop on writing comedy. #screenwriting
Back from an annual fortnight in Singapore. Working with film and drama students of all ages to create the most inspirational short films and devised theatre pieces yet. Year on year I continue to be blown away by the collaborative work produced. Huge thanks to everyone.
What a fantastic start to 2026. A "film in a day" workshop at The Chalfonts Independent Grammar School. Working with students of all ages to create a film from scratch in just a few hours. Truly an inspirational school with only 86 pupils!
Always great when a client sends through the brand new print copy of their book. This time a travelogue about their journey across Route 66 on a motorbike. If anyone else feels like they have a story to tell but needs some guidance, please do let me know. https://t.co/jbkGI8F0zv
Delighted to be returning to Marymount International School. This is my third visit and I am hugely looking forward to working with the English department, helping Year 9 with a creative writing project, as well as the DP Theatre students. #creativewriting#theatre#drama
Episode 2 of "In other news..." Beautifully made by John Lloyd Fillingham and voiced by Rob Lane and Polly Kilpatrick. We were all in the same year at drama school and did this purely for fun, but are delighted by the things is has lead to already. #animation
It was truly an honour to have been part of an industry pitching panel at the University of Manchester this week. Sitting alongside producers and script editors, as the amazing MA screenwriting students pitched their feature film ideas and received feedback. #scriptwriting
Cairo American College was buzzing with creativity this week as Artist in Residence Ian Pike brought his storytelling magic to all divisions! From theater games to film workshops, students explored the art of bringing stories to life with a pro whoβs done it all.
And so two unforgettable weeks in Singapore come to an end. This is rapidly becoming a second home and I have loved every trip. I was lucky enough to work with Theatre and Film, students at UWC, Stamford American, Dulwich College, Australian International and Tanglin Trust.
Three very special weeks in Hong Kong comes to an end. With huge thanks to everyone at VSA, DDNIS, Sha Tin College and KG5 for allowing me to work with their amazing film and theatre students of all ages. It was an absolute joy from start to finish and I cannot wait to be back.
This week I am greatly looking forward to running a number of workshops at the National Association of Writers' Groups annual festival of writing. Delighted to have been invited back. #writerslife#WritingCommunity
