They had 5090s 5080s 5070s even a couple 4080s from last generation. A complete display case full of 9070 XT’s they had Intel cards including those new 32 GB ones. They had the AMD AI cards that had the 32 GB. They had probably about 5 foot wide by 6 1/2 foot tall display case completely packed full of WD black NVM drives. When it came to SSD‘s and video cards, there was no shortage at all completely packed now I will say on the desktop memory end was a little bit to be desired.

Pi Desktop v0.1.2-alpha is out

Sessions are finally identifiable at a glance: unnamed sessions now show a preview of their first message instead of a timestamp, in Recent Sessions and the Timeline (#47). The Timeline also stops showing file paths as session names.

Also in this release:
- Empty chat is now a centered prompt with a project picker and suggested actions (#44)
- Recent Sessions grouped by workspace, resizable sidebar
- Faster boot and session switching - no more UI freezes on big session files (#48)
- Windows: fixed subagent EPERM failures mid-task
- Linux: AppImage no longer shows a license prompt on first run

Pi Desktop 0.1.0-alpha is out - a desktop GUI for the Pi coding agent.

Themes: a new token-based theme system, a live-preview theme editor.

Permissions: custom allow/deny rules per tool, layered over the permission modes, plus a per-workspace trust gate an untrusted repo can tighten access but never grant it.

Chat and files: grouped, collapsible tool calls with inline diffs, a searchable model picker, image paste, @ file mentions, prompt history, in-conversation find, and PDF preview in the side pane.

Minimize to system tray and run-on-startup options.
