We just completed an article reviewing protective immunity to COVID-19. Hopefully it is a helpful summary and framework for the field moving forward, considering correlates and mechanisms.

Excited to share this sweet new preprint from Dr. @DULI04769643 in our group revealing that the human sugar-binding protein #Galectin9 potently enhances #SARSCoV2 replication and inflammation in airway epithelial cells #COVID19@Vitalant@UCSF https://t.co/cujf2dwq9N
Our new pre-print posted. We compare immune memory to Moderna, Pfizer, J&J, and Novavax COVID-19 vaccines head-to-head. T cells, B cells, and antibody. We think this is the most comprehensive immunological evaluation of these four different vaccines. 1/17

I also want to share some experiences I’ve had freelancing to help my fellow writers. 🧵 1/n

@KurianLab Incredibly important to share our successes, struggles, and failures as scientists to provide a real picture and strengthen our community. Rock on @KurianLab!
@KurianLab Thank you so much for sharing this sentiment! I hear ya loud and clear - have felt the same way this past year (and incidentally also just took a critical science-free vacation that recharged the batteries!).
