Before our break, Pillar Elementary School students had the opportunity to debut their winter play! Focusing on the schools STEM curriculum, the play was designed to educate the audience on how our Pillar students are learning.

Renovations continue at Pillar Elementary School as crews work to transform the school’s gymnasium into a new and improved multipurpose room for students and faculty. Special thanks to 3LLC and Alston Construction for all of their support in making this project possible.

Special needs families are particularly hard hit during the current Covid-19 crisis. To help, Pillar Care’s Senior Employment Specialist Marlon Greer has been traveling to local food pantries to pick up supplies for families of some of our participants. #continuumthroughcovid

In support for our Pillar Care group homes @thesoulfullproj has shipped 30 packets of their delicious hot multigrain cereal to each of our homes! Special thanks to our friends at The Soulfull Project for their generous donation of supplies!

Before our Pillar Schools were forced to close, our staff members moved quickly to develop a plan to transition our students to virtual learning. Staff members remain in daily contact with students and their families to provide guidance and assistance.

Staff members from our day programs have stepped forward to work at the group homes to ensure the safety and well being of our residents. Please join us in expressing your thanks and support for all of these staff members for responding to the crisis every day.

Join us in thanking the incredibly dedicated staff members working at our group homes. Our residents have severe disabilities and medical challenges and are among those most at-risk with the spread of COVID-19. Our group home staff members continue to ensure their well-being.

Members of the Ankit Memorial Foundation visited our Pillar Elementary School yesterday to assist students with an art project depicting the four seasons. Students had a blast working with different medium like table salt, water and pastel crayons to create their masterpieces.
