Team Willow have really enjoyed reading ‘Our Favourite Five’ books.

We read at least one of their favourite five stories each day. We read and reread the same five books over the course of the half term. Until the children know the words off by heart.

EYFS read the story 'Are these my horns' in the forest school. They then went off to search for objects that they could use as horns!
They had lots of discussions about similarities and differences.

Our Early Years Team had a great day at the @eboractrust EY Conference. It was great to talk about everything early years!

Networking is all about sharing of ideas, information, best practices, and lessons learned.

Team Willow were extremely lucky to observe, not one, but three of the butterflies breaking out of their chrysalis.

The children spent a lot of the day watching and waiting for butterfly number four to appear.

I wonder if we will have four butterflies fluttering around today?

This student has been sent from teaching heaven! Not only is she nailing her placement but she continually goes over and beyond and has become such a valuable member of our team. We will really miss her when she leaves to start her own journey.😥

Team Willow took some time out today to connect with nature by doing some cloud watching. We saw elephants, submarines and even people in the shapes in the clouds!
