@adriancummins Another one bites the dust! Huge loss to the local area & tourists. Loss of employment, services & social outlet. We're also struggling with staff numbers, et al, but hanging on. We'll miss one of our go-to restaurants on the occasional mid week family night out
2 days? No, no, no! They must wait at least until after the weekend to let public know their fate, that's how they treated hospitality!!!
Just shows the can move it OR drag their heels when it suits!
But it is good news.

Green Party leader @EamonRyan says he expects changes to close contact rules to come in in the next two days. He says that the Government is still concerned about #Covid19, but notes that ICU numbers have remained steady despite the Omicron wave | https://t.co/i93Tp5nSL1
@MichaelsCoDub Good stuff Gaz. You're correct, there was TOTAL black out of info as our "leaders" were on Xmas hols we ALL had the shoulder to the wheel, in the dark, in the hope that we could make it through without shutting down. Most of us made it thus far, others not so fortunate.

@EmmetBarry1@mistereatgalway@AniarGalway Same, every text tone sends a shiver down my spine. 1 close contact/antigen+ in our small kitchen & were done! Feel ill thinking about it. 😷🤯
@sligococo@IWCare@IrishWater@OceanFmIreland 2nd time this week, several times this year! Fair play to Sligo water lads literally out in the field making good repairs. @sligococo need to look at aging pipes. Here's hoping we have water for Xmas day. Again lads working on repairs said they're on duty tomorrow...if necessary
Nothing beats a beach walk on a beautiful winters morning....
Staying at The Ocean Sands Hotel, you are only 1 minute away on foot from enjoying 5km of Golden Sand, beautiful views of Killala Bay and the sound of The Atlantic Ocean

@EmbrayHotay@MichealLehane So No CRSS=business close & no prsi/vat/tax to revenue. Thousands more on PUP paid with borrowed money. Local economy suffers. Everyone stays in bed!
OR
Pay CRSS to qualifying business= pay tax prsi vat. Nobody goes on PUP. Local economy stays alive. Everyone can keep working
🤔
@adriancummins@LeoVaradkar@cathmartingreen@VFIpubs@RAI_ie
November trade down 40% on 2019 & projecting similar for December means no CRSS. Meanwhile wages with new EWSS is running at 58% of t/o. Unsustainable! Old EWSS rates MUST be reinstated or we shut & add to the PUP pile and that makes no sense!!!
