As my bones start making all sorts of noises 😂😭, I’m out here forcing myself to go to the gym and eat healthier. Meanwhile, my face is getting younger

Apparently, the body complains while the glow-up happens!

[Thatohatsi Mangcu @PilotJones3]

@azania1023 No this is a lie I was found by Dr Nasiphi in the township and I have first hand experience with what it means to be supported by the City and the Mayor. I serve my community by offering free foot spa treatments to the elderlies without the support I was out.

[Thatohatsi Mangcu @PilotJones3]

@eNCA I loved how there is so much hope in all of this...

[Dr Nasiphi Moya @nasiphim]

We express our appreciation to House of Afrindi and Lacquer Nail and Beauty Clinic for hosting this #MandelaDay initiative and creating such a meaningful platform to honour the elderly.

We are especially grateful to the founder, Ms Thatohatsi Mangcu, who approached the City to partner in this initiative and whose passion for serving others brought so many people together ❤️🇿🇦.

The best way to appreciate her dedication to the country is to vote for ActionSA in large numbers.

May every day, not just #MandelaDay, serve as an opportunity to support and uplift each other as a nation.

#MandelaDay For us, service is not a one-day event, but a daily duty to lend a hand, bridge the gap and build a more equitable Tshwane.

#MandelaDay Initiatives led by young changemakers like Thato and her team are incredibly important; she is a true example of what a caring heart can offer this world. Quality services shouldn't require our residents to leave their own communities. Excellence is entirely attainable within our townships, and House of Afrindi, alongside Lacquer Nail and Beauty Clinic, is a prime example of what is available right here in Atteridgeville.

Today is Nelson Mandela Day

Make a mark, play your part and make a difference.

Mandela once said “It is in your hands to create a better world for all who live in it.”

Do what's right, support those around you, indeed we can attain a better world! #MandelaDay2026 #67Minutes

A morning well spent #MandelaDay

@CityTshwane

[Dr Nasiphi Moya @nasiphim]

#MandelaDay reminds us that service is not measured by the size of the gesture, but by the difference it makes in the life of another person.

It also reminds us that our elderly deserve to be honoured, not only for what they have done, but for who they are.

They have cared for our families, built our communities and helped shape the City we call home. They deserve to feel valued, respected and cared for every day.
@CityTshwane

[Dr Nasiphi Moya @nasiphim]

#MandelaDay: We are in Atteridgeville to spend the day with Thato as she hosts a special event for the Gogos of Atteridgeville.

We first met Thato in May, when she invited us to join this special event. She runs Lacquer Nail & Beauty Clinic and, twice a week, she hosts elderly women for beauty treatments.

This is our 67 Acts of Dignity in honour of #MandelaDay.
@CityTshwane

[Dr Nasiphi Moya @nasiphim]

Gogos are often the pillars of households and of society.

Their service to building families and strengthening communities often knows no bounds. We spent the morning in Atteridgeville with bonkgono ba rena to show gratitude.

This was our chance to celebrate their contributions and remind them that they are not forgotten.
