At my first job, I improved performance of search in our web app by around 3 seconds.

Maybe it was because I deleted a setTimeout that waited 3 seconds that I previously, accidentally pushed to main but it could’ve been anything…

This was the Leith Walk / London Road junction for 38 minutes today.

1⃣ The first point to note is that there are a lot of pedestrians crossing London Road - certainly comparable with the number of cars. Their time and safety is at least as important as somebody in a car.

On my flight today I woke up from a nap & an attendant was walking down the aisle holding a pug, saying “we found this pug. Whose pug is this??” And for 3 hours we all just took turns holding the mystery pug until a verrrry stoned man in the last row woke up & was like “Roscoe?!”

My out of office is on and tomorrow I’m going to be doing the @Dunc10in10 challenge (hike 10 peaks in 10 hours in the Lake District) in order to raise money for the @mssocietyuk!

I went and ruddy did it! 9 hours, 54 minutes and 59 seconds. I ran the last kilometre to ensure I did it under 10 hours. What a fantastic challenge @Dunc10in10 raising money for the @mssocietyuk 🧡 not bad for a girl with MS

Some of you reading this have MS or maybe know someone with it. However, for a lot of people, it is something which they’ve heard of but don’t know a lot about. 1/11

A couple of takeaways from my diagnosis:

- take out critical illness cover (I wish I had)
- don’t take your health for granted
- and of course, again, remember that not all disabilities are visible
