Sometimes when there's big updates like this, old shader files get used and it causes a bitch of a performance hitch, I just work it into my monthly pc cleanup routine

disk cleanup > directx shader cache > ok

%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local
Delete contents of DXCache + GLCache
restart pc
