Cross Slash starting as an original move from Arena, somewhat being a bit of an original Arcsys move then it coming all the way back into Revival 14 years after its creation to be Yu's big move that isn't M. Truths honestly puts a big dumb smile on my face as a FG fan and P4 fan
Persona 4 Revival was first revealed this day 1 year ago.
Returning to the air yesterday, it has since received a major trailer, website update, and several showcase articles.
The game will release in 8 months.
It is an interesting thing to think about, considering this will be (we assume) the first truly new mainline title without the direct involvement of the old guard, (Hashino, Soejima and Meguro).
A big question about Persona 6 has been, how different will it be from previous titles? Would they radically shake up the formula?
If we can take anything from this description, (which isn't much), it will have the familiar elements.
Persona 4 Revival seems to be very different from Persona 3 Reload. I would say it's more, ambitious? P3R felt like a very "safe" remake, just make P3 in the style of P5.
But P4R they're just going crazy with the camera angles, animations, new mechanics. It's cool. 📺
An entirely new story is about to unfold.
Persona 6 is officially announced for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox PC, Xbox Cloud, Steam, and PlayStation 5!
