Homemade piña “collada” (a collagen-enriched recipe)

Aside from being fun & easy to make, the collada’s combination of fruit, coconut oil and collagen gives me lasting energy and focus. Of course, you can always add rum (just be prepared for some of that focus to turn into silliness)

Ingredients:

- 2.5 cups organic pineapple juice (freeze in a mold)

- 1 cup of coconut milk (Native Forest makes a gum-free product)
• If you struggle with coconut solids you
can mix milk and coconut oil together
for a somewhat similar flavor

- 2-4 tablespoons of collagen powder

- 2 tablespoons of raw honey

- a few ounces of white rum if desired

- a pinch or two of salt

- organic strawberries for garnish

(Serves approx 3 people)

Instructions:

- pour pineapple juice into your mold of choice and let freeze for 3-6 hours

- combine ingredients in a blender (if you wish, save a few frozen pineapple chunks to place in your glass later)

- garnish, pour into a glass, and locate your favorite sunbathing spot!
